November 1- Nice till eve when it started to rain. 2 inches. Still raining. Daddy and I picked up chips this morning. Mr. Kepley came after Clarence.

November 2- Cold day. Daddy’s 55th birthday. Sewed on my quilt and read some.

November 3- Nicer today. I made some doughnuts. Daddy went to Lakin. Kepley boys brought Clarence home. I read a lot.

November 4- Saturday. Cold rainy misty day. Snowing tonight. I made some doll clothes today. Awful cold tonight.

November 5- Sunday. Cold day. Uncle Grant brought Daddy and Lennie home. Took Grandma and Clarence home with him. Fred Kolb was here.

November 6- Monday. Little warmer today. Clarence came home from Lakin. I read quite a bit today.

November 7- Rather nice day. Mr. Searles, Mr. Hamon and Fred Kolb were here today. Mamma washed today.

November 8- Rather nice day. Daddy hauled in feed. Ironed some today. Didn’t do anything out of the ordinary today.

November 9- Rather nice day. Cleaned up the house some. Daddy went to Ulysses. Took 26 chickens (H.5-L. 31/3), got $5.09. Charles Walker was here.

November 10- Lovely day. Lennie and I took a walk. Got a letter from Kathelene. One of the Kepley boys came after Clarence. C. Hamon was here.

November 11- Lovely day. Daddy took Mr. Hamon to town. Cleaned up the house and bathed. Made a meat loaf today.

November 12- Rather windy. Lennie’s birthday. Went to Sunday School. Kepley’s brought Clarence home. Dad took him back.

November 13- Nice day. Daddy helped Hamon butcher. John Lemmings, Mrs. Tuttle, G. Miller, and P. Payton were here. Saw an airplane.

November 14- Lovely day. Berl and June were here and got the wagon. Daddy went to Ulysses and got some coal. I cleaned up the house.

November 15- Little cooler today. I sewed some and read some. Daddy hauled some feed. Mamma cooked some meat. Lennie and I played ball.

November 16- Cold windy day. We washed. I done the biggest part of the washing. I made a meat loaf for supper. Sure was good.

November 17- Nice day. We ironed today. Daddy hauled in feed and maize. Read a lot and sewed a little.

November 18- Nice day. I cleaned up the house some and read a lot. Mamma baked bread.

November 19- Lovely day. Kepley’s brought Clarence home. Fred Kolb was here this afternoon. Daddy took Clarence back to Kepley’s tonight.

November 20- Lovely day. I finished my cushion cover. Got my hair cut. Daddy hauled feed. We were outdoors quite a bit this afternoon.

November 21- Rather cool today. I sewed some. Daddy hauled feed. We were outdoors some this afternoon. Mr. Tuttle called tonight.

November 22- Nice day but kind of cold. I sewed a little. Was outdoors some this afternoon. Mr. Tuttle came by on his way after coal.

November 23- Stormy day. Had a REAL dust storm. We washed today. Daddy went to Ulysses. Got a sack of flour.

November 24- Lovely day. We cleaned up the house. Oren, Francis and Joan Ely came today. Mr. Hamon was here.

November 25- Cloudy windy day. The Ely’s went to Colo. Mr. Tuttle and John L were here with coal. Daddy took Hamon to town. Clarence came home.

November 26- Lovely day. This was Clarence’s 22 birthday. We didn’t go to church today.

November 27- Lovely day. Mr. Tuttle and little boy was here. Daddy hauled feed. I baked a cake. Clarence went to town.

November 28- Nice day. Daddy hauled feed. Mamma baked bread. Mr. Welsh called this evening. The radio program was good.

November 29- Lovely day. We washed. Daddy hauled feed. Mr. Hamon came over and they butchered. Carl, Margaret, and Estelle were here.

November 30- Nice day a little cloudy. Thanksgiving Day. We had a good dinner. Daddy finished hauling feed. Cleaned up the house.
