March 1- Wednesday. Snowy and cold but cleared off. Didn’t feel good so didn’t get anything done. Devere came over in P.M. for a few minutes. We went to Church at night. Missionary Meeting. John Lyons died last night.

March 2- Thursday. Nice. Did some laundry and cleaned up the house and washed my hair. Watered back lawn. Oscar and Orville P. went to Colo. Springs.

March 3- Friday. Windy most all day. Did some mending and got checks ready to pay bills. In P.M. went to John Lyons funeral, then helped with the evening meal. Got a registered letter so had to go to Post Office. Check on the new gas well.

March 4- Saturday. Chilly. Didn’t feel good so didn’t do much. We went and got groceries. I laid on heating pad in P.M. Sheltons came and got some shrubs. In eve we went with the Lockards to Colo. Springs to hear Doug Olden sing. It was great.

March 5- Sunday. Chilly in A.M. but warmed up. Had 123 in S.S. In P.M. we went out to see the Breedloves awhile. Church at night. Good services.

March 6- Monday. Nice an warm but windy. Washed clothes in A.M. then went up to Mrs. Hills and helped Oscar with a storm door. In P.M. did my ironing. Made a pie this eve. Mrs. Kindall passed away this morning.

March 7- Tuesday. Temp was warm early then took a nose dive but came back up to around 50. Went with Mrs. Hazen out in Lincoln Park to see some material at a lady’s house. In P.M. fixed Mrs. Hills dress and took it to her. Oscar went to see the doctor.

March 8- Wednesday. Pretty nice. We took a load of junk to the dump in A.M. Went to town in P.M. Had the car washed and waxed. Went to Mortuary to see Mrs. Kindall. Went to church tonight.

March 9- Thursday. Nice. Went to Mrs. Kindalls funeral in A.M. In P.M. took some curtains up to Mrs. Hills and hung them for her.

March 10- Friday. Nice. Oscar and Orville P. went to Pueblo shopping. I cleaned the shop up and worked outside a little. Started some ironing for Mrs. Cornella.

March 11- Saturday. Nice. Washed and ironed and cleaned up the house. Baked some pecan rolls. Oscar worked on Pickup. Devere was here in eve.

March 12- Sunday. Lovely day. S.S. and Church in A.M. In P.M. went for a drive with Devere. Up to Bever Creek and Brush Hollow Resevoir. Church at night. Wrote a letter to Mae after we got home from church.

March 13- Monday. Nice. Went over to Deveres in A.M. and worked from 8 to 12. In P.M. did some ironing and worked outside a little and rested. Oscar got the garden leveled down. Mailed letter to Mae.

March 14- Tuesday. Nice day. Showers this evening. Went with Oscar over to David B-then shopped some. Finished an ironing.

March 15- Wednesday. Nice. Went out to the Grand Opening of Gibsons new store-such a mob of people. Oscar plowed garden in P.M. Went to Church in evening.

March 16- Thursday. Lovely day. Did some washing and a little cleaning. Mrs. Cornella came and got her ironing and candle. In P.M. we planted some peas, spinach, swiss chard, beets, and onion seed.

March 17- Friday. Nice day but got windy in P.M. Oscar tore out fence along the North side of the place and in eve Eli and Shirley helped burn the weeds off the bank. Got a letter from Cora.

March 18- Saturday. Lovely day. Washed and did some cleaning and worked outside some. Oscar fixed the fence in back yard, sure looks better. Trees starting to bloom. Plum trees in bloom.

March 19- Sunday. Nice. Had 129 in S.S. Rested in P.M. then went over to Coles awhile. Church at night. Good service.

March 20- Monday. Rather chilly wind today. Didn’t feel very good so didn’t accomplish anything. Went up to Mrs. Hills in A.M. Went to town in P.M. Got a check cashed at Bank. Oscar went to Dr. then we went out to Gibsons store.

March 21- Tuesday. Nice. Did an ironing. Went to Ladies Prayer Meeting in A.M. out to Sheltons. In evening the Lockards came over and we played records.

March 22- Wednesday. Nice. Oscar and Orville burned weeds. I worked outside some in A.M. In P.M. got a crib quilt ready to quilt. Went to Church tonight. Good service.

March 23- Thursday. Cloudy most of the day. Rained a little in A.M. Went over to McCalebs with Mrs. Sherrill to prayer meeting in A.M. In P.M. went down to Jones. Oscar and Orville went to Colo. Springs and got some wire, posts, and some things for Orville.

March 24- Friday. Rather chilly and windy out today. Sewed on a baby quilt. In P.M. went up to see Mrs. Ridgeway and Mrs. Monhollow.

March 25- Saturday. Nice day. Washed, ironed, and cleaned up the house. In P.M. went over to look at a house on Rose Lane street. Then got some groceries, then went to Brow’s station.

March 26- Sunday. Nice but windy. Had 130 in S.S. In P.M. we went out to Bergman’s then to a 5:30 board meeting. Went over to see Bob Bottoms then back to Church.

March 27- Monday. Cloudy and cold, started snowing in P.M. and snowing hard tonight. I finished the crib quilt and started crocheting on pillow cases.

March 28- Tuesday. Snowy most of the day. Worked on pillow cases.

March 29- Wednesday. Cold. Wrote a letter to Cora. Went to town in A.M. Oscar went to Dr. then we went out to Gibsons after medicine. Got some groceries. In P.M. went out to Cookdale and got some milk. Went to church at night, had a good service.

March 30- Thursday. Chilly but clear. Finished crocheting pillow cases. Col. Shelton was here in A.M. Oscar fixed his hedge clippers. Oscar fixed our lamp in P.M. Looks real pretty.

March 31- Friday. Nice but chilly. Got up early and washed my hair and put out some laundry. Went over and helped Devere 2 1/2 hrs. Then we went to Good Friday services. In evening went to Baptist Church to hear a choir from Baylor University.
